I left my door open, as it's a really beautiful day, and within 10 minutes I heard a sound behind me and there was a dog in my kitchen.
A small brown one with wiry hair that looked like it had a moustache. Luckily it had a mobile number on it's tag so I called it and led the dog out. But it sat immediately when I told it to and was so gentle taking the cheerios that I used to coax it out the door. It was sO sWEET!
I miss owning a dog. :(

So yeah, dog appreciation.

I also love my 2 dogs, I have a America Pitbull ***** and male rottweiler. I really love them and if you properly teach them, your relationship with them are awesomely great. They never bite or do harmful stuff, always playful.

My neighbour has a cavvie king charles spaniel that I bloody adore. She's what I call my "hairy baby". Neither agressive nor yappy, in fact the only time she barks is when she hears someone knock on the door or a door on the TV. Shes absolutely brilliant except that shes also a sooner.

This isn't her, but its an absolute spit of her.

I cried so hard when my last cat died, but that's because he was around since I was practically a baby. He died a few years ago and I have a different cat since then.

I always wondered why people would call their dog rebel, when dogs are the most obedient creatures i can think off.... wouldn't it be a more appropriate name for a cat? (i thought this was a good thread to post this in :p)

This is Zero, the chihuahua-dachshund with a snaggletooth that my ex and I had.

Zero is pretty rad, which is saying a lot because I hate dogs in general.

I've had three dogs so far. All finnish lapphunds ---> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finnish_Lapphund All black and white males. The current one is a real crazy ass runner. Runs and barks as much as a dog can. A good watchdog, and a bad neighbour. I always take my dogs with me on hiking, and in that activity they are better than people.

The greatest dog in the world is the German Shepard.

I had one for my entire childhood...first got the dog as a puppy when I was five, and he died when I was eighteen. Damn, I miss that dog...:crying:

Dogs are awesome! I have 2 German Shepards. One of them is THE BEST dog in world, she will share her favorite toy with any other dog. That's how I picked her out...she left all the other puppies to bring back toys for them to play with.

I am not saying no dog can be trained. But there are alot that no matter what you do they piss and shit on the floor. And i have never had a cat that did that.
Cats have to be trained to go in a litter box and how to bury it in the litter. A roommate of mine rescued some kittens and got them ready to be adopted, part of that was the training I just talked about.
