Does anyone write music?

For as long as I can remember I've always liked writing music/poetry, I can flow pretty easily, anyways I'm gonna post some of my work, {both in literature and music because my friends bands made them into songs, very RATM sounding ;) } tell me what you think of it.

I write songs and was in a band a while back.
I like to write bluesy stuff mostly and a bit of rock/metal.
I'm thinking of starting a leftist band up later in the year or maybe next year.

I wrote a che song a while back blues/rock type music, I need to pep the lyrics a bit though I'm not that happy with them.

I am in a band. We're not particularly left wing although wwe did play at a fundraiser for palestinian medical aid. I write quite a bit of my own music both for my band and otherwise.

*raises hand* ooo me me! I write tons of poetry, have won some awards and stuff too, mostly dark stuff though.

I try to write stuff. It often turns out sounding childish and oversimplified, but I guess that it's all I can do.

I write my own guitar riffs and stuff...mostly metal but i am kind of getting into techno (yeah on guitar!! wierd..)
whenever i try to write lyrics they sound good at the time but then when i look at them after they suck...

Im writing songs now in the hope of forming a band in the summer. Nothing political though, soft indie angst; we should sell millions. :)
