Comrades,

Tonight, if all goes well, I am going to be purchasing the first proper good guitar I have ever owned.
It is a U.S.A. stratocaster with a sunburst finish and maple (light) neck.

I saw it in loot and the price is good too. It costs 350 for the guitar or 400 with the case. The guitar on it's own would have cost me 730 in Soho soundhouse. I been saving for it for ages.

Anyway just thought Id tell you how excited I am.

good luck with your guitar, i myself am to buy a guitar (acoustic) as a christmas prezzie, to follow in the footsteps of lennon, also fund my uni :)

I'd like to learn how to play the guitar but I have no musical ability what so ever so it would just be a waste of money. But the guitar is cool though!

I have a Epiphone SE - and its a lovely little guitar for its price. It cost me £150 and plays like a £500 Gibson, i have got so lucky with my guitars so far.

I'll take this opportunity since Zippy mentioned it, Radiohead are brilliant. The lyric should have been, anyone can play guitar except El C. That is because I have no musical ability what so ever!

trust me anyone can play any instrument if they just keep at it. it took me quite a while to get used to playing bass guitar although i already played 6 different instruments. so just stick with it (if you are interested)

I've been listening to a lot of their stuff recently, especially their older albums like Pablo Honey and the Bends, it helps when doing revision. It's so damn boring!

Nick, I may take up an instrument, but I need to do it when I have some time, at the moment I've got loads of work on, shame really, :(

I just tried to stringmy electric guitar and the B snapped within two minutes. Thats 4 fucking quid down the loo in one swift snap and my evenings plans ruined.
