Well as the title suggest I have some news, it's a tradegy and the weather has played along with it by becoming a deeper shade of blue. Bt five, six, seven, eight, it's time for me to tell you. Steps have split up, but never fear, I've managed to get an interview with them and found out what they are going to do with themselves.

Given that Steps have split, their avante-garde experimentalism having proven too challenging for the record industry, let's hear what the band themselves have to say on their future post-Steps

H - "I'll be retiring to spend more time with me nob."

Claire - "I'm in negotiations to construct an abortive solo career that dies on its arse after a couple of minor hits."

Lisa - "Eh? The band have split? Jesus, doesn't anyone tell me ANYTHING?"

Lee - "fucking hell, what am I gonna do for a living now? I don't know how to do anything except pranny about in strange clothes doing nothing useful. Oh, hang on, here's an offer of a job from King Adora. Apparently I'm perfectly qualified for them."

Faye - "I'll be auditioning for a new career on the Fantasy Channel."

Fantasy Channel - "Fuck off, you minging cow. Nobody wants to look at your muff."

Pete Waterman - "I had to get rid of that bunch of troublemakers. They were rebelling against my authority. One time, they even wanted to wear red costumes instead of blue! Don't they know who I am? Fools!"

The revolution is underway! The downfall of pop has started!

Just think, in the past few weeks both Five and Steps have folded like cheap deck chairs. Now there's only about two million of the generic pieces of crap left.

Ciaran, we can only hope that this is the downfall of the pop music industry, but I sadly doubt that it is, this time next week there will be yet another set of generic people ready to take their place and take money from people hand over fist. What a shame, :(

No wait a minute, That's not right.

No I just hate Steps, Nothing political about it, I just hate them.

And that Steps fan I know who is a ***** will be really upset which would be good.

Maybe that's a bit of motivation for us all? Destroy capitalism and the commercial music industry will be destroyed too, along with all the boy bands, R+B artists, Craig Davids and Britneys.

YES, when the revolution comes, we could have them all tried for crimes against our ears. We would be able to get rid of commercial radio as well, like people such as that cringe inducing tosser, Chris Tarrant.
