It's all about rock'n'roll, but on the other hand the soviets didn't take it as leftist music.
Come on, there's no left or right music. All I know is just music.

My favorite left music is .. Public Enemy, Krs 1 and Bob Marley. I have not been exposed to many different generes of left music... I have listened to P.E, Krs and Bob so much i have their words grafted on my brain and in my heart.
Red Head.. you brought a smile to my face when you mentioned the Coup... I used to love their music...i feel them in my soul, thier lyrics always moved me.. I have not heard from them in a few years... I will be searching every record store if need be.. very soon to buy their c.ds (because i lost them)....... THANKS
PEACE

if anyone wants to hear a funny commie song, try to find Bob Dylan's "Talking John Birch Paranoid Blues". its really entertaining. When I think of "left" music, I always remember my grandmother singing Solidarity Forever and the International and Preacher and the Slave and stuff like that to get me to sleep...
of course, I prefer punk rock (especially Anti-Flag).
Has anyone here listened to the Ani DiFranco and Utah Phillips cd, "Fellow Workers"? Its kind of interesting.

Vitoria, De franco rules!! Derar mate, you sound a bit like me, kinda a metal head??? Was wondering, do you (or any other dudes here) like Opeth (deep, black death metal), Iced Earth (power metal), Nevermore (grinding power and very political/anti usa), Nightwish (beutiful norweigan operatic power metal), Emporer (black metal), or In Flames. If anyone hear lives in Melbourne Australia and likes metal, I suggest u check out Metal Mayhem for all your heavy needs. Say gday to Sash while u are there. Top bloke who knows the score.
