help on mc escher artwork/math concept

For my math theory class, we need to :

Describe the impossibility present in a work chosen from MC Eshcer’s prints.


I get the general idea that it presents impossible images, but what does the professor want out of me?

How do i describe that impossibility present in his works?

Damn...I suck at math...

I don't have a clue...besides that his images show things that are impossible (perhaps mathematically impossible, i.e. geometry-wise) in reality.
