The Pixies

I like a lot of bands but one of my favourites are the Pixies. most rock bands of the past decade where influenced by the "other fab 4 ". unfortunately I've never seen them live, but i did see frank black perform live this year at the lowlands festival, and he played a couple of pixies songs as well. You can 't go wrong if you buy any of their albums but my personal favourite is Doolittle.

The song "Where is my mind" is really "geil"! My momentanous favorite song.

I got Surfer Rosa the other day and its growing on me. Its pre-Nirvana sounding grungy music and i havent listened to that in years, but it is quite nice in a "never heard these before" kinda way.

I will tell you more after a few more listens. :)

Surfer rosa is great ! Come on pilgrim,Doolittle and Bossanova are also of the same high quality. Trompe le monde is also a pretty good record but not as good as the others. and for the die hards complete b-sides and at the bbc are also damned interesting. there is an excellent compilation album called death to the pixies(search for a limited edition with a bonus live disc from utrecht,holland). Best band of the 20th century......
