New Music - As good as RATM?

is there a band as good as RATM, i can't find any rebel rock like RATM so if you know of a great band like RATM tell me

there are loads of political bands i'd say...
the ones i mostly listen to at the moment are refused (also broken up) and propagandhi...the international noise conspiracy is very political as well....bah, too many.

non of those really sound like rage though i'd say...thats the great thing about them, the unique sound.

Maybe you should wait until Rage's leftovers release their new CD with Chris Cornell...it'll probably resemble the sound most.

btw. my RATM live DVD just arrived, and it's awsome...anyone with a DVD player should get this.

I used to like rage until i got into the grind and punk scene, there is ALOT of rebel music out there that are waaay better than rage and more hard. Rage was just another Mtv branded band and I kinda got bothered when Ches face would be flashed on Mtv.

I think it's a matter of musical taste.See I never cared about most of the punk scene although there is a lot of rebel music there.
Way better and more hard?I can't understand why you think that what is harder is better... or maybe you don't think so.

what do u mean get real? fukin rage had that "RAGETV" thing on mtv for a week and all there shit is played on Mtv until they lost de la rocha.

im not a musician or anything (thank god) but ive listened to music all my life and PUNK ROCK is not better than RATM. i mean what is "punk rock" isnt it like a type of "hillbilly" heavy metal. anyone can play PUNK ROCK i would think.

music as good at RATM you would actually have to go back and find an old band like Black Sabath/alot of their songs have the same "funk" riffs that Rage does. Robert Plant sings like DLR only in higher notes.

of course punk rock can't compete with RATM in quality (can't find a better fitting word right now)...

Punk Rock is simplistic, yes it is easy to play, but does it matter?
I bet the hardest thing to play is some classic stuff.....i still don't listen to it.

ratm has one of the best guitarrists after all.... (my opinion)
