Where can we download subtitles, and what do we do with them? How do we embed into the video? I downloaded Che part 2 without subs, and I am not sure what to do.

This is not a "technical problem" of the site, moved here.
Subtitles are used on the down of the screen to see what people say.I use GOM player, and i just drag and drop the subs in the GOM window when the movie is stoped before it starts.
I dont know where you can find the subs you want, i can find greek ones, but i do not think they will help you..
I meen if you do understand the language they speak, the subs are useless..But its your "thing" if you want or not.

Che movie is not in English, so I'd need subs in English. And there are other Russian movies, which need subs.

Subtitles in Zoomplayer (http://www.inmatrix.com/zplayer/highlights/subs.shtml)

VobSub (http://www.inmatrix.com/zplayer/formats/vsfilter.shtml)

ZoomPlayer (http://www.inmatrix.com/files/zoomplayer_download.shtml)

You should be able to download a subtitle file by itself if you search Thepiratebay.org for the movie, and only select the .srt file.

If you just wish to watch a film with subtitles you don't need to embed them. You need to ensure that the sub file has exactly the same filename as the film and is in the same location. To permenantly embed them into the film you need to re-rip and burn the film again with the subs.

This may help:- http://forum.videohelp.com/topic153058.html

I have had some "fun" with subtitles for the 2 Che films. The film download for part 2 was in 2 seperate files. The subtitles I found were a single file for the whole film. The program Vobsub recomended above was able to edit and retime the subs to fit the 2 seperate files.
