who knows the manic street preachers (rock band from wales).
there are actually strong anti-fa.
in february 2001 they made a concert in cuba, and after that the congress of the usa debated if the manics shouldnt be allowed to make any concerts in the usa. the usa trys everthing to boycott cuba.
the manics actually hate america.
some songs are very good others are a bit crappy.

I like their last album a lot, good lyrics. They always have the welsh and the cuban flag on their amplifiers when they perform live. saw them at the pinkpop festival this year, was pretty good.

I have been a fan of The Manics for a few years now, so im biased here. I used to be amazingly stereotypical - black hair, eyeliner, Sylivia Plath novels, etc.
Musically, they arent as good as they used to be but they are still ok. I saw them at Reading and it was a fantastic live show they put on.
and after that the congress of the usa debated if the manics shouldnt be allowed to make any concerts in the usa.
I doubt they would even want to. They have strong communist links so i doubt they will ever be allowed into America.

The manics are a brilliant band, Zippy is right, who in their right minds would want to perform in America!

The US Govt.spokesman from whichever dept.who's job it is to ban dodgy bands(in the US's view)said that a ban on the Manics wouldn't happen"because it would be unenforceable, the people would not accept it."
So,all you big bands out there, get down to Havana, your conscience needs you!

Notice how they say, "a ban wouldn't be enforceable". Do we take that to mean that they had contemplated it and realised that it was not worth the time and effort, or that it would be a violation of human rights.
Freedom of speech, my ARSE!
