Cause the ska thread somehow ended up talking about krautrock bands like Neu!, Kraftwerk and Can.

Like I said in the ska thread Kraftwerk and NEU! are ace, haven't really formed an opinion on CAN as of yet.

I like how eccentric Kraftwerk were, for instance their phones had no ring tones they would just pick the receiver up at a specific time and someone would be on the other line, simply genius :laugh:

Can is my favorite of the bunch.
All studioalbums including and before Landed are great.

Also most rare material compilations are worth it, especially Delay 1968.

I'll have to look into them, heard one song and wasn't blown away, sounded like the Doors sort of, hmmm.

Some of the Swell Maps' later stuff was pretty krautrockish. What an amazing band they were.
