Does anyone play in a band? - Are you any good?

I used to play bass for a band. We had to split as it was me and my 3 best mates but the way it was going we were on the verge of never talking again. It all ended in a drunken fight after about 2 years. But it was amazing while it lasted and there are strong rumours that there may be a comeback on the cards. Watch this space.

me here! i play guitar in the band.. its really tough recording a deom by urself... we're doing is DIY style... if u read the recent lyrics u might say we're death metal, but i dont think we r.. i just like to use the death imagery to express more personal things thats all... i think most "death metal" bands do that too.. what am i ranting about???

i used to play in a jazzy, bluesy, hip hop type band. i played bass guitar, clarinet and saxaphone.

i sing as well but not in any band.

the band broke up because we all moved to different citiies and i don't have the time for a band right now

Im going to make a band, when i find people beautiful enough to make music with. The only musicians i know in these parts are Limp Bizkit fans, which wont really do.

Well... in the late 80's I played Rythem Gutar and sometimes bass in a Heavy Metal band... I wrote the lyrics, my friend rob who played lead was good at putting it all to music... my brother played keyboard and a friend of his sang... and my girlfriend at the time played the drums...

But all in all... we sucked, and didn't have our act together at all...

We were not really political Chief, as the drummer and singer don`t really care for politics and the singer wrote most of the lyrics. The guitarist is a fellow comrade however.
RedCeltic,that is exactly like my first band. We were trly terrible but i learned a lot from it and it was great fun. We were about 14 and used to get some booze in and just practice all weekend.
If you ever hear Joe`s garage by Frank Zappa, that is how it all began for me.

Yeah, I play guitar In a band. We play quite a mixture of rock music including some of Hendrix's stuff, Chilli Peppers as well as alot of our own stuff.

We have guitar, Keyboard, Bass, Drums, male voice.
