What are you trying to prove? It's poorly worded, but the point is clear - unlike sex, gender is not dependent on any features of the human body, such as the nature of our sexual organs, but is a set of attitudes which emerge from a process of social conditioning, teaching the members of each sex and to act and present themselves in a certain way, in accordance with what is expected of that sex by society. In other words, gender is a social construct, and therefore subject to change, and not directly tied to biology. If you have a point to make about the socialist approach to gender, then make it, instead of trying to hide your stupidity with silly remarks.

And what is wrong with that? It is correct. Gender is defined as how one identifies themselves, which comes down, it is thought to certain variations in their brain. That is why some people have to have gender re-assignment therapy in order to correct their body to be in line with their actual gender. This has mainstream acceptance as well. That is why many countries allow you to change the gender on your birth certificate, passport etc.

I think this is representative of you as a person, politically. If you knew the first thing about sociology or LGBT issues, you'd understand that their is this distinction:

Sex - Biological, male or female.

Gender - Social/cultural, how you self-identify in terms of sexuality.

Interesting how libertarians go on about freedom, and they're certainly quick to defend the liberation of markets, but when it comes to social liberation and issues of gender, race, and sexuality, they either tend to show ignorance, or are downright reactionary.

As a queer I'm deeply aware of issues of gender and sexuality. My dictionary defines gender as sex, not a social construct, which you Marxists use in an attempt to abolish human nature. You confuse gender and gender traits.
