Hi 36 here. I too Red Celtic felt the same way when those 80's songs were current, although some of the punk songs were ok, which was where I was at in early mid-80's, in the NY punk scene. NOW..... I hear those old 80 tunes, and I'm thinking. "Wow, that song wasn't half bad." LOL. fuck..... nostalgia or nueralgia? HMMMMM???????

I like some of that stuff too, but was mostly into the heavy metal music... have you ever seen the movie, " Detroit Rock City" ... that was me...only in the '80s. But yea I put the radio on and find myself tapping my fingers on the stearing wheel to songs I used to 'hate'.

By the way... it didn't bother me too much when this bb started and I was the oldest one on it... I thought it was ok... but was realeaved when I found out... (oh... the person didn't say it in public...) .... that somone is 29.. as before that the closest age I knew of was Nickadermus at 23... but after talking to her... knowing her life experiences... I don't think of her as a kid at all... but am glad to have her as a friend.. and she's such a wise 23 yr old... :cool:

Huh? No way CB... that's not me at all... maybe you didn't understand... I was kind of making a joke about being 30... I don't think people who are older are better. It was only that when revealing ages I was much older... which kind of made me feal like I was over the hill.

And yes I know some people who are 'young' can be 'mature'... in fact some of you who are young like yourself for example are wiser than people older than me who believe everything their countery tells them.

I have not discriminated on anyone's age here at all. In fact when Drunktank came out and said he was 15 I complemented him, as I for one would not have guessed he was only 15.

Also... Nickadermus who is seven years younger than myself teases me on ICQ about being older... This is mearly just a joke not to be taken seriously... as Nickadermus and myself are two people who get along briliantly together and age is simply not a factor.
