That lyric part ..."keep your hands off my stack" is a mocking condemnation of what most ppl think about money. Best all time album " The Wall" ....

I think that they are extreamly left sided. All you have to do is listen to Run like hell, Waiting for the worms, In the flesh (part 2), Money, welcome to the machine, Wish you were here, Dogs of war, the new machine, the new machine (Part 2) and a few others to notice their views.

As for Micheal comment about the lyrics from money. I think Waters and Gilmore were saying this in the view of capitalist class. Another quote says "Money, share it fairly but don't take a piece of my pie" I think they were saying ther about how the capitalist think others should have more money but they don't want it to come from them.

I think I know what they were singing,after all I've got almost everything that has been released by the Pink Floyd..I agree with what you say about Money,and I've listened to The Wall and watched the film over and over...They are my favourite chapter in music's history!
All I said was that they're not left-sided anymore,you see Waters and Gilmour are not talking to each other,I think you know the reasons,plus the concert in Berlin(that was when the wall came down)by Roger Waters didn't seem very left-sided,I mean the whole idea wasn't...A lot of people who like them cannot afford to view their concerts(I hope it ain't over yet)because of the expensive tickets.That's really a problem.When the Rage Against The Machine came here for a concert they managed to keep the tickets in a very low price,and that I think is a really left sided way of thinking,isn't it?

they are singing about the world! is that what makes someone left? the religious fanatics would say "the left are those that missed the "rapture" and face tribulation and the only way to save themselves it to die in the name of God"
