If we travel to a foreign country, especially to a developed country, we shall often experience or see that they treated foreigners by marking-up the costs for at least 1.5 times compared with locals, or even, omitted the service towards foreigners, esp. in the social security service. Just take an example in the US universities, international students were always charged for at least 2x as the locals do!
I sense something is absent-minded from this case. Our world were primarily consists of developing & poor nations, which means, mostly, they enjoyed less welfare & wealth rather than the people in the more developed nations. If we question, why foreigners were always been over-charged, most people will say a simple but compassionless answer: "because you're not a citizen, you don't live/work here, or pay income taxes!". But, as we know that most people in this world are living under the standards of the developed nation's wealth & welfare one, but why they demand more from the less-advantaged one? Developed nations were also helped by the outsourcing in the developing one & also the low-costed imports from the developing nations. I could say that this' an organized greed, organized blackmail, & it's very unfair! This' a neo-Imperialism! Developed nations resembles the neo-borgeoises!
What do you guys think?
