Right now, in the relatively developed societies, women emancipation have showed their results. Gender egalitarianism became a common thing in our everyday life. Women can enjoy their rights as men does, but they must also ready to take the responsibilities as men does, as the consequences.

Nowadays, in the present-contemporary societies, there is a new category for some people in gender or sex issues: LGBT category: Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, & Transgender/Transsexuals. LGBT issues, sometimes (or even, oftenly), became very sensitive in the social rights. We can say that LGBT people right now were just like women for about 200 years ago: they were still discriminated in the society. There were untold numbers of discrimination cases towards LGBTs. LGBTs like become a "pariah" in our contemporary society, due to their "weirdness". Stereotypes of "unclear, & sparking matters" towards LGBT people still continue today.

We must understand that LGBT people also humans. They deserves equal rights as men & women does. That's why, we could say, that it's the time for the LGBT emancipation!

Things have come a long way since Stonewall, but there's still a way to go. The UK might be doing quite well in this area these days, but the US is really lagging behind. Some states in the US you're still legaly allowed to sack an employee for bieng gay, or refuse them a job! Shockign stuff for the 21st century!
