Hi, I'm joel. I'm a 15 year old male from Melbourne, At the moment I'd describe my views as being Trotskyist as I think that it is a pure representation of Marxism. Anyway, I look forward to much enlightenment from the esteemed posters of RevLeft :D. Thats all for now, comrades.

I have a few friends from Melbourne, and go there quite alot (I was actually considering going this month for Marxism 2009 - a friend insists haha).
There's also some Melbourne communists on here as well. A lovely admin, too. :D

Nah, mate, I mean the only Melbourne that matters, the aussie one of course. I'll probably go to Marxism 2009. I need to establish some leftie links in Melbourne, I've tried to contact all the socialist organizations but i just seem to get ignored :crying:

Australia is quite a nice place, if you take out the bushfires of course. The socialist party (trotskyist) replied, so I'm quite happy about that.

Try the SP-CWI (http://www.socialistpartyaustralia.org/). it's probably the most active in Melbourne, and with the best politics in comparison.
Let me know if you want to get in contact with them, and i'll pass your email along to a comrade of mine in Melbourne who's a member.

Yep, cool. They're nice people. A mate of mine is a member and very active. He used to use this board, but not anymore.
