Prenups,capitalist or not??

Whats everyones opinion of prenups,are they capitalist by making sure the rich stay rich or do they cut down on the greed that comes with marriage??

marriage is inherently patriarchal, hetro-sexsist and serving the continuation of free slave labour within capatlist society and so is anything that is part of marriage.
on the other hand, if you marry (out of nescesety for for example becoming legalised in a country or adoption reasons or out pseudo-romantic idiocy) a prenup is just smart thinking to prevent future drama.
discussing wheter or not the prenup it self is capatalist is irrelavant pseudo marxism.

Marriage is a religious institution, plain and simple, the fact that the State gets involved is simply (in my opinion) mixing church and state, people going through a ceremony and pledging their love is their business and nothing to do with the State.

Because marriage has become intertwined with Capitalism due to Capitalism nature, prenups have come with it. Peronsally I think Capitalism has ruined marriage and relationships, and ultimately family life, the number one cause of divorce is money issues, and the damage it does to children can be pretty bad.

Marriage as a property relation is capitalist. Pre-nups may, sometimes, do something to reduce the exploitation that comes with marriage as a property relation, but fail to address any central issues. . . so it's hard to relevantly label them as anything.

Unless of course I marry someone wealthy. Then no, I would not. And I would take offense at being asked to sign one.
