...in Highland, CA.
Their excuse: "Incites Racism or Hate."
There it is, folks: naked censorship of this forum: ugly, ain't it?
Next stop: letting them know that I let you know, and that they may be facing legal action.
Catch you soon, hasta pronto, y a la victoria, siempre, MKO.

I know what you mean! I tried to get on Revleft in my free time at school (I expected it to be blocked, but I thought it would say forums, which are blocked at my school) and it was blocked for Racism and hate. That is total bs. I can not believe that they think we are spreading racism and hate. If I am not mistaken I am pretty sure comunism is about equality and status elimination. it seems as though the conservative life-style in America has taken a new high, violation of rights in orde rto preserve thier hold over the money. Sickening.

Maybe a deep hatred of oppression and exploitation on message boards is enough to be banned by public institutions in the United States ;)

Wow! Sounds like a reactionary library. And yes, we're so Racist. I see a Jew! Let's get him!

 Hope you are joking.
But, about the original post, as soon as the wage slavery of capitalism and brutality of imperialism are questioned, it translates into "hate". The question to be asked is hatred against who?
It is obvious sarcasm.

Now that is so shameless! An act of class war to which our comrades have to respond. Luckily there is no risk of that happening here... yet...

they probably use some sort of filter program that has revleft in its database by default or something.

Update, comrades: I just got an email to the effect that this forum has been unblocked.
I'll let you when I try again to access this forum from the Highland library (I'm in Riverside at the moment, and go to public computers when I need a bigger, faster machine than I have at home, and don't care about downloading).
Hasta pronto, y a la victoria, siempre, MKO.

Thank you for the heads-up, rararoadrunner. No problems where I'm at(yet) as you can see, but clearly in your case it shows that nobody should be fooled by the presence of Mr. Obama in the Oval Office. Historic election or not-the fascism is still rearing its ugly head over in yankistan.
Anyone in any western country had best be prepared for this kind of fascist action being taken to deprive us of our speech freedoms.

Update: green light at San Bernardino County Library, Highland!
I'm writing this from a library computer at that library: I'm happy to confirm that there is full access to both refleft.com and revleft.org.
Chalk one up for the cause of freedom, comrades!
Hasta pronto, y a la victoria, siempre, MKO.

I wonder if revleft is banned at my school. I never tried going to it at school before...

revleft is blocked at my workplace under the same rationale.
You'll probably find its not specifically library policy, my workplace operates a net vigilance program called 'websense' the makers of which are a pro-israeli company who have recieved criticisms for freedom of speech violations (they also block non-pornographic sites for the homosexual community).
Im pretty sure any computer in the world with websense installed will block revleft.

Interesting logic. We might not get any school work done because of revleft. ;)

Blocked by websense in my school due to 'racism and hate.' What's weird is that revleft is blocked yet americannaziparty.com is not:confused:

Also blocked in The Hague public library.

That's essentially it. If i was still at school and i could go on revleft, i would have got even less work done than i did.

Looked up the Websense site, then its entry in Wikipedia: it seems that, according to both the ACLU and Amnesty International, Websense is being used by repressive regimes, whether at the national, subnational, or even school level...
So: you mission, should you decide to accept it, is to identify those schools, governments, workplaces, etc. that are using Websense and other technologies as tools of repression, and mobilise against them, doing an "end run" to alternative resources in your community to keep us and your other comrades posted...
You will definitely not be disavowed!
Good luck! Hasta pronto, y a la victoria, siempre, MKO.

Sometimes its banned because it has words about white supremacy. For example DSA was banned because it said it fought against fascism, and revleft was banned for a while for having threads about stormfront.
Its possible some ANTI-racist threads on revleft are read by the censors as racist.
Not to give the feds the benefit of the doubt, but it has happened to me
