I need to write an article about budget cuts to education here in california and I want to talk about the struggles other students are facing, such as the the students in France.
So if anyone could provide sources to what Sarkozy'z educational reforms are gong to do, and the Teacher's and students struggle against them I would be grateful.

If you can't read french, maybe you should choose the 2006 movement, it is more documented in others languages than the current one.
And while it's true that the resistance against it in france has some original aspects, the reforms themselves (this one as much as the previous ones of 2005, 2006 and 2007) it is a general movement all around europe that started with the Lisbon Strategy. It's not sarkozy's initiative. In greece and in germany too there were relatively large protests movements against similar reforms.
