Sometimes its hard to work out if trolls are trolls or just stupid.

well perhaps we could, the reasonable OIer decide wich one deserve to be thrown out of the OI.
i mean, look, most of us are reasonable, why should we have to endure all those troll, all those flamer.
we are reasonable people and we just want to discuss, this kind of person (troll) is really distracting, i mean the main purpose of the OI is good debate or questionning of various issues, not having a bunch of troll every 2 day posting absurd stuff that will then be replied by member looking for a chance to score an argument AND by some dude looking for some LULZ.

Trolls are banned! They dont sent to OI.Some get away for the doubts we might have at the start, as CJ said they might not be trolls maybe not with enough mental ability, or something. We try to be "fair" and dont ban people for false reasons thats why we may look "flexible" on some situations. However if you think that someone is definitely a troll, try messaging an admin/mod to further see it.That way you will help too. I know a lot of you dont like those idiots that come along just to say their shit, so if anyone gets in your knoweledge, pm.

I don't know nessesarily what the definition of a troll is, but I think trivias comes close. Some one that always brings up irrelivent points, never responds to points directed toward him, does'nt contribute anything to discussion, repeats unrelated points and ignores their answers. It just gets irritating and tiresome.

Yes, he entered "troll status" many moons ago.

Maybe after people get restricted there should be polls among the rest of the OIers on whether to keep that person in OI or give them the boot for being a troll/etc in their eyes...

Like fuser said, trolls are usually banned. Posting from an OI is not usually considered trolling - its depends on their posting style. If there are people currently in OI whom you think are trolls or are trolling in threads etc. then i would suggest PM'ing Jazzy the OI mod, or an admin.

i once started a thread about overpopulation and Jazzrat replied with "Either kill or geld yourself, otherwise you've not a leg to stand on."
so im thinking of sending a PM to Jazzrat in regards to getting Jazzrat banned. something has to be done about that guy.

Please don't post such provocative rubbish - obviously if you feel the OI mod is trolling you should PM an admin and not the OI mod. Surely that was implied in my post? Either way har har

Does anyone consider me to be a troll?
Please be honest.

I did at one time, but your posting style has changed since then and your views (along with the way you present them) have matured. I'd say you're probably my favorite regular OIer at this point.

No.
By the way, if you don't mind me asking, what part of Dallas (country) do you live in? I'm currently attending UNT, but my home is close to Lewisville.
