I really would love to use it for the site of our new " left centrum "
You will have to get rid of the che picture, and basically all the menu items, since they will be replaced, but for the rest you dont have to change much.

I will however have to ask for help from other members regarding html and stuff, since I have to slice the image and fit it into html blablabla.... I think Scotty and Ak47 offered their help before, so that would be great...

You can always ask me anything on HTML... i can even create the entire (HTML) "interior" of your site if you like, D DAY.. it would be a pleasure, and it's actually what i'm trained to do(graphic design is not).

Finished the menu items, but I really can't make as many menu items as there are on the orignal picture. Sorry Zombie I reall tried to do so.

The name of the site should be " Autonoom Centrum Amersfoort "
Its a leftist centrum open for anyone, just to give you the basic idea.

Well I really love the layout wich was in the first picture I posted in the thread. The red one. But you have to take off che and just leave that red like the rest of the bar. and you can change news to " Autonoom Centrum Amersfoort " and latests post to " Nieuws "

Thats it for the main page.
I hope this is enough info, thanks for any help.

Che Lives has both functions, so I think its just a html code.

But can't you make another half circle at the right. Then it looks more like a design instead of a small picture.

While i like the text texture, I don't understand the meaning of what's behind it... looks like random vector lines to me..

Scotty, there's a feature I never used in Photoshop, and that's slicing. Can you teach me how so i can send you the finished work ready for html coding as soon as possible?

man i'm pissed. Last night i saved your logo on a disk and went home to work on it. unfortunatly i couldn't open the disk on my pc.
i went back to college today and this time brought some fresh disks with me, and bizzarly this pc is telling me they are not formatted (there's 2 jpeg files already on them, and it opened fine on my pc)...
I think there's some issues between these pcs and my own...

ok it's done. finito. I've incorporated the logo in the layout, sorry for taking so long, but I was away from friday to sunday...
I've uploaded a snapshot of the layout on the server, but apparently there's an internal error so i can't access the community server in order to link the file... must have something to do with the new server?

Anyway, Scotty, you still checking this page? I have the PSD file zipped and ready to send, give me an adress so i can send it to you, unless you prefer me doing the html coding (but you'll have to teach me...)...

You really helped us out a great deal, you may not even realise how much.
Since Scott is away ( I guess for vacation ) I deciated to ask another technical comrade of mine to do it. Therefore AW took care of it and slightly edited your design so it could be sliced into html pieces.

and it will be updated this week with much content.

Mr. When if you need any assistance from a html coder like me just ask and i'll do whatever needs to be done.

the site looks great, but i've just some little things to complement:
- first off, the title-- "Untitled Document" is rather unoriginal :-P

- secondly, i would suggest to make the jpegs interlaced-- especially the left side-bar.

can't wait to see some content appearing soon!

Bas, do you need a so-called Content Management System-- a system to easily update your content(a must if you will update regularly), or will you be editing the html yourself?

shall I mail the so-called "interlaced" copies of the jpegs to you?-- it really is an enhancement, especially if the site is viewed via slow ISPs-- the pics are then build-up from low to high resolutions, rather than from top down in high res.

i guess you don't have any content (to be) stored in databases, have you?(like subscribers to mailing lists, etc.).

we might want to incorporate some PHP-script right off just to be sure??(especially if you want to gather ppl's opinions-- "OPINIE"?!)

i will add something to search your site with Google's engine, too.
