no.

how is 3 actions a plethora? A single nonrevolutionary weekend is infinitely more bloody than a month of total revolution.

right here, http://selfdescribed.org/?p=140, is a solidarity statement from the 2 on the 19th

I hope when the police tear gas them and start arresting them they dont back down

These protests need to get radicalized

I thought you were going to be talking about the legislation 22 states are introducing to claim their sovereignty from the federal govt.

We do indeed live in interesting times.

Yes. All two hundred of them. At each demonstration.

if nobody violent and the protest is properly scheduled with the local authorities i dont see why the cops would attack you.

Obedient disssent, how far has that ever gotten anyone? If the Ruling class and State is'nt inconvenienced by an action whats the point of doing it. When you go on strike you don't ask the boss for the most convenient time to go on strike.

About these protests, they are rediculous in my opinion, it reminds me of Patton Oswalds stand up bit about stopping the war with finger painting.

spetnaz21, do you want to be remembered as opposing the current system of totalitarianism or do you want to be seen as sympathetic to it?

The powers that be, and future generations, need to know that people violently resisted corporate capitlaism. How do you think labor advances were even made in America and Britain in the twentieth century.

They weren't all non-violent, so violence as a tactic is debatable.

Thank goodness there have already been socialists and anarchists who consistently opposed capitalism last century.

I did'nt say violent, it can be anything disruptive, going on strike is'nt violent, mass boycotts arn't violent (not symbolic boycots, actualy disruptive ones), refusing to move, blocking roads, and so on and so forth. Have those worked? Ever hear of Ghandi? MLK? Cesar Chavez? Nelson Mandela? Just to name a few, did they look like violent extremist assholes?

Yes, we must keep in mind that a lot of the "violence" at supposed protests is in self-defense.

well, i agree that those kind of action can have an effect, i just think that the whole idea of being utterly agressive toward cops during a protest is totally unproductive. that where i have a problem.

In the vast majority of the cases.

Link?

I really am curious, being a state-righter myslef. The notion of total sovereignty is pretty dumb though.

"We Want Pork! We Want Pork!.....

Oh, uh, you're saying the bills due? Well, that's all their problem we had nothing to do with it"

There are i believe now 23 states with this legislation either enacted or being considered.

4 states have bills introduced to return their States to gold and silver money only to transact state business

1 State even introduced a bill to make the federal reserve branch in its state pay state income taxes.

So what is the age group of the people going to the self-described demo? I can't imagine there will be many people over the age of twenty. This isn't an insult either.
