So, I know this is super lame, but I'm always super busy. Still, I'm need to make up some buttons for a local political group. I was wondering if anyone would be willing/able to help me out. I don't really have many technical or artistic skills so if anyone's a photoshop wiz, it shouldn't be too terribly hard. The place I bought the buttons has a photoshop template. I need 1 inch buttons made (I think it works out to .875 actual button face).

I need a button (any communist/anarchist/red/black background is fine) that says "Red Party." I also need a button that has a red map of the united states with either a gold star or a hammer and sickle inside it. Anyone able to help out?

So you mean a image as a template for buttons or the actual physical button? I guess I could design a button as you described as i have way too much time on my hands but I'm not sure what else I'm capable of.
Here's some basic designs. They're very simple but fit the description I guess. Maybe the perimeter text should have been filled as well... but I can't "bend" my text in Paint.NET. I have no idea how to proceed with the actual making of a button, but I hope this is of some help anyways.

Damn, Red Guy. You beat me to it. I wanted to use this as an opportunity to try out my new graphics program. Oh well, later I guess.

This was actually wonderful. I love both of them, I was just wondering if you could get rid of the other text since it will show up on the button and just paint it black. Also, I love that USA with the hammer and sickle in it, but could give it a black background instead? The final request I would have would be to have you shrink them down so they're 1 inch in diamater and fit them on a 8.5X11 inch size sheet and just post those files to rapid share or something.

Basically what I'm going to do is take them to some sort of copy shop, print them out. Then I take them home, cut them out, and stamp them using my button maker. If you're not too worried about security I could probably send you a set of the first run. It's a good start for sure.

Sure, I'm on it now. Will post when finished. And I'd love a set of the first round.
Not sure what you meant by painting it all black on the first one so I made two versions. These are both 1 inch and big variants, and some on a sheet, not sure how to go about that either. Filling an entire sheet with them would take a while. But it should be easy to use paint and just duplicate them around. The sheet should be the right size I belive, 8.5x11, can't see why it would change or how rapidshare would change it.http://i720.photobucket.com/albums/ww205/ikrayjky/sheet.png

If you need buttons we have a 1" button maker and are able to make large orders if you want.

Those are quite slick looking buttons. Good work SRG. :)

PRC-UTE posted a thread in DIY saying he is able to produce badges a couple of years back.

Dunno if he still does it though.
