I don't think it likely that Redstar comes in here at all.
I asked him at lunch the other day and he said it was because he was too lazy to write a book, and would comprise of his opinion on a lot of issues. He writes a lot of material here, and I guess he figures it wouild be nice to have it all in one place. So do I.

It's a very simple website that I designed for him. The layout is nothing fancy (on his request) and canikickit summed up what it was fairly briefly.

Not much more to say. I personally can't wait until he decides to open it publicly.

I should call it the "beta version". :cheesy:

But it's up and running. I hope people like it.

Redstar's website kicks up a fuss

Outraged at the views our very own resident and moderator, Comrade RedStar2000, visitors at his very first website (The RedStar2000 Papers) have called his views "terrifying", and his mere views have seemed to have turned a person away from 'communism' (whatever that may have meant to this person).

An anonymous poster at www.anyboard.net
(www.anyboard.net) stated that "I used to consider myself to be a "communist", but after encountering idiots who really don't care about anything except opposing everything the US does (no matter what), and other idiots who actually show what a heap of shit the whole idea is, I have begun reforming my views."

He continues: "One of the principle reasons for this change was a certain person. While reading his rather terrifying website (http://www.sawu.org/redstar2000) (how the hell can anyone with those ideas exist)."

He also claims that he is "building a counter website to piss on him if you are interested in helping with support."

The sad thing about this is that this weak-minded person has abandoned leftist ideals because he did not agree with one person. Secondly, he is building a whole website purely to "piss on him (Redstar2000)".

The leftist movement can do without people who do such things. He has seems to have no respect for our Comrade and his right to be able to roam the internet freely without being personally attacked for the person they are.

RedStar2000 might say things that are outrageous, but he does not, and will not, go out of his way to 'piss on you'. He will listen to your opinions, even though he can be extremely stubborn at times.

If anything, this person who plans to build this counter-website should have a good look at himself, and a good look at the capitalists that plague this world, who rob people of their wealth, and racist extremists who throw molotov cocktails in buildings, because of a person's 'race'.

It must be made clear to this person that we do not approve of his behaviour, and others who want to attack RedStar2000 personally. Who knows what some of these people may do. It might start with 'pissing on him', but it may continue into a security threat on his computer and physical self.

Redstar may have a few beliefs I disagree with (read: disagree, not I KEEL YOU, REDSTAR) such as his religious policy, but on the whole, he's got alot of things pretty right.

As much as I disagree with Redstars theories, I do think it was good for you to put them down.

The site its self is moderate, the DHTML effects could do with being altered so that links do not turn into the same colour as the background, all that shows is poor web building. However the site in its self appart from that flaw is impressive. Some of the arguments are however not to my taste.
