The Polaroid Kidd has probably been the only one to date to document the traveler culture on the West Coast. I was captivated when I first saw a collection of his photos. Living my whole life in the Midwest I've never been exposed to this culture, we simply don't have a traveler or hobo culture, or at least not a very visible one. Below are a some collections of his photography, I think you'll find them well worth the time to peruse.
