The overall majority of any country is the working class, so one asks himself, why are they not in charge? No, I'm not trying to sound ignorant, but the fact just stroke me today when walking around town. This huge mass of people are willing handing their enormous power into the hands of a few.
Ok, you're all set to change that in your country and hopefully your good accomplishment will be copy/pasted in other.
What are the first things that need to be done?
- how to promote simple ideas that are factual - how to explain to the working class that they are majority and that every single step/law/action/measurement/legislation in the country MUST be in accordance with their well-being?
- many people are religious, how to explain to them that they can still practise their fate, but that their church/religion can ONLY deal with the beauty of the afterlife, this earthly one will be out of their domain.
Extra: why would any "honest" believer object to this?
- how to claim power in the manners of 21st? Bolshevik revolution probably doesn't count. Party elections?
- what form of ideology should be set up by the new government? Presumably the one that will ease the transition towards the classless communist society. But what would be the first step?
- radical steps won't work because the new system must prove that the quality of life increased, only then will other countries/people follow.
- how to distance yourself from the failed attempts at socialism?
- how to secure the position once taken ? How to deal with police/army and violent attempts of bourgeoisie to reclaim power? hint: police and army are working class
- how to use propaganda for success? This is probably the element where capitalism vs socialism stands like 20:0, unfortunately.
Ok........
These are simple steps ones that think serious must be able to answer in order to get the things going.
Starting from these simple steps and building upon the stated and adding extra issues/ideas we would - ideally - come up with a raw manual how to change the system that is oppressing us all.
Problems: If you take time to actully debate upon what I've wrote, you'll soon see how we lefties are actually very divided among ourselves.
Something that capitalists learned to overcome. Their different schools, parties and quazi-ideologies are all working for the same goal - sustain and defend the capitalist model at all cost.
