whatever you call it, its a crisis for the capitalists, and in fact for everyone. This is a time in which we should utilize! We should stop talking and try and get a revolution rolling asap. This recession wont last forever and nor will the pessimism against the government. People worldwide will embrace communism again at this point more than ever. This is a time for extreme poverty for the working class of africa and some parts of asia and latin america. If ever we should seize the opportunity shouldnt it be now?

You can't force class consciousness. That results in an elitist oligarchy. We can educate the masses and attempt to promote revolutionary socialism, but in the end, the system has to fail. As capitalism causes more and more recessions, the people will continue to become discontent. If you observe the time of the Great Depression, even the New Deal could not suppress the workers movement that formed under Communist Party USA. The continued flaws of capitalism give us a chance to exploit them and create a mass movement. Regardless, workers emancipation comes directly from the proletariat, not an elite. The people must unite themselves and make that decision for themselves. That is the only reasonable path to socialism; the workers liberation.

You couldn't have put it better comrade commie Kassad...

Forcing class consciousness, is something which can be achieved in the short-term but ONLY temporarily, after a while if persistent efforts of the tenacious government start to slide then of course class consciousness will break-away from the people

Seizing the federal and state powers first and then educating the masses can be an alternative or we can slowly and progressively educate the masses and cause a revolution of complete and utter destruction of the bourgeoisie

Yes as you said, the recession will bring growing and aggravating discontent around the world, full blown emancipation will occur only through education and ecouragement.... the proletariat is not for personal power but it is for the people and the working class .. a society that comprises of a classless system... So workers unite.... the only thing that u have to get rid of is the chains on your feet ...

The capitalists might be able to partially recover from the current crisis but never fully just like how capitalists were never able to fully recover from the crisis of 1973, it is clear that capitalism is actually slowly dying through internal contradictions that is not to say we should simply wait for it to die as the ruling class would form a new class based mode of production if capitalism stops functioning in their class interest.

wait for capitalism to commit internal suicide rather than push the issue? If so thank you

Not really, I'm saying that capitalism will only continue to get weaker yet the ruling class won't let capitalism drag them down. You can see that now, larger capitalists are pressuring the bourgeois states to defend them from the current crisis at all costs, taking trillions of dollars in bailouts just subsidies their rate of profit.
