The introduction guide asks me to explain what type of lefty I am, but I find it very hard to place myself accurately. Some of my views are revolutionary left, some are not, it is all situational, part of the reason I decided to check out this forum was an attempt at defining some form of broad political perspective to myself.
If you asked me 2 years ago where my politics lay I guess I would say broadly Anarcho-Syndicalist, I was briefly and violently involved in the activist scene in Sydney, but I found the community lacked the inclusive nature I had attributed to it before I got into things.
It is because of this that my politics are so undefined, I find myself basing all my political positions upon an intense critique of the way things are, but I lack a coherent idea of how they should be. My 'moral' system is clear to myself, but its implementation in my current situation is not. Hopefully through lurking in discussions and possibly engaging I will find out more about myself and the community both.
