You can learn more about anarchist communism by reading Kropotkin, particularly The Conquest of Bread, Errico Malatesta, Murray Bookchin, and Graham Purchase. Also, there are a few histories of anarchist communism in zine or pamphlet form online. Alain Pengam wrote "Anarchist Communism," which is available at www.zinelibrary.info, and there are also histories of anarchist communism written by Wayne Price and "Toby," that you can find on www.libcom.org and www.zabalaza.net.

An Anarchist FAQ has a lot of stuff about anarchism generally, from a "social" anarchists perspective. http://www.infoshop.org/faq/index.html
The Anarchist Archives are a great place to find a lot of writings by various people, including anarchist communists. http://dwardmac.pitzer.edu/Anarchist_Archives/
I would suggest you look through the stickied threads in the Learning forum, there is some good information about anarchism in general, and anarchist communism specifically.

Malatesta is probably the easiest read and the most likable.

The Dispossessed by Ursula LeGuin is a really good book as well.
