I'm reading "Free Lunch" by David Cay Johnston and it's like.. "what the fuck is going on?" I'm not even half way through the book and I can't take capitalism and it's fucking "leaders" serious. Not that I did before but the arguments this guy makes are so current and at a time when we, the tax payers are bailing them out (again) and it's a not secret or loop hole, it's even all over the corporate media, and WE ARE STILL OK WITH IT!?!? I repeat, what the fuck is going on?

We have to give it to ruling class and their system. we really have to, hands down they are the best at brainwashing people and propaganda, It's like no one is questioning the systems flaws and calling for an end to it, but working people are hopeful that it gets fixed? So that things "get better?" For what? So we can have an other shot at exploiting each other? at the "american dream?" I know I'm preaching to the choir here, forgive me. But Just think about it. If it were any other country, any other era perhaps we'd be calling for the heads of these fucking people, not letting them "fix it" so that we can have an other go at a failing and unfair system.

I mean on what ground does the ruling class set their laws and rules to harass us and throws us into poverty and drive us to crime and imprison us when is them who steal from the working tax payer?

Taxes are due in a couple of months. I get 208 dollars taken off my check. where the hell does the 208 dollars go to? How many bombs to kill Palestinians have my tax dollars contribute to? How many of my taxes go to CEO's bonuses and gifts? I'm fucking outraged but at the same time I feel helpless.

thanks for listening.

I don't think people are okay with it. I haven't spoken to a single person who is okay with this bail out. Not one. And they're not all communists, not even close.
Most people feel like their is nothing they can do.

So people aren't living in destitute poverty, or dying of starvation. most people want to make sure food gets on the table, and that they have a roof over their head.

So we can have an other shot at exploiting each other?

Workers don't exploit each other.

at the "american dream?"

I don't think anyone believes that anymore.

What, like this?

You're in the same position as alot of people.
My suggestion, for what its worth, get active and start propagating.

What's the deal with David Cay Johnston, isnt he the reporter for the NY times or something?

Ive seen this guy interview the IRS commisioner with some pretty hard questions, but then later Ive seem him backpedal on his positions.. Or what appeared to be backpedaling.

Im not sure what to make of him.. Didnt know he wrote a book either.
