Or do you have to have an earlier domain to add the particular forum you download?

Err, the guy asked for software, I was just providing the links the previous person wasn't able to include.

As far as I know, you will need hosting for each of those three bits of software, I don't think anything provides free hosting for them. Well, not true, I think you can find phpBB free hosting, but it isn't a great piece of software.

So, in the sense of you needing to have hosting, they aren't free. But considering hosting can be cheaper then USD 10 a month...

asked for free software, thats because i got kinda confused!;):pand i understood it that was the previous post links, but i thought i would ask because if those would be free, could be a hell of "opportunity"!As i am in the process of making a forum myself now, and dont really can afford paying a hoster!;)

Phpbb and SMF(simple machine forums) are the 2 best i think. both free. phpbb is a little more complex to work with but in the end its alot better and has alot of themes for it. If you need any help installing them or setting them up let me know
