Is there any sort of meeting attended by all of the states claiming to be socialist or building socialism? It seems like their are enough to work out a united anti-capitalist model of development. Also, this is probably another question for another thread, but are the Laotians or Vietnamese any more capitalist than China? I understand they took to 1996 much worse as a result of being hopelessly capitalist, unfortunately, but anyone with a bit of insight into the topic enlightening me would be greatly appreciated.

I don't remember hearing about any. Besides, I don't think there are any states present today that can realistically claim to be Socialist. And the ones that can claim to be Socialist by their own warped definition of Socialism, are now deteriorating into Capitalist states....

The League of Non-Aligned States would be the only place such a meeting would take place, and it's pretty moribund. Nor does it limit membership only to socialist states.

It's surprising China isn't pushing itself more as a leader of the movement.

Probably something to do with China not being a part of the movement . IMO their fully capitalist as of now .
