A band not from the 80's! Weekend in the City is just the sex!

Johnny Rotten assaulted and racially abused their lead singer.

They're terrible.

You hate bloc party but like bands like Modest mouse enough to see them live?

Noel Gallagher took the piss out of them, but who cares what he says? Oasis are awful. And he butchered there is a light that never goes out. The only good thing he ever said was 'when will I get in slapping distance of Margaret Thatcher?'

Dont like them, I remember hearing the start of Flux and was expecting a cracking rave song, it wasn't to be. The chorus butchers the song.

From what I've heard of them, they're pretty good. I don't usually listen to stuff like them, but they're alright.

Modest Mouse are nothing like Bloc Party.

And if you listen to BP compared to say, Foals, they pale in comparison

I was remarking on the whole genre thing, rather than saying they sound the same. And no, Modest mOuse aren't better than them. Modest Mouse, in my opinion, are actually quite boring as far as Indie goes.
