Hi guys.
I was wondering if you could help me with this.
Is the manga version of Marx's Das Kapital going to be available overseas?
If so, will it be on sale in the UK? Where?
I have inquired about this in a few places with no luck.
I'm not into manga but I am anxious to check this out.

In a true socialist fashion, someone should somehow post it online.

A Manga Das Kapital? That's awesome. I won't even bother reading the real one as it's long and complicated. Instead I study Marxist Economics at marxisteconomics.com. I think that's what the site is called anyway.

Yeah, I think someone's working on a scanlation, and apparently there will also be IRL translations into chinese, korean, and english. So it will probably be available to the UK through some manga seller, though I dont know if it will be available in major bookstores or anything
Either way, its not been translated yet so no one knows exactly about distribution
I think

Reclaimed Dasein is working on a sort of bootleg translation project with it, had it scanned and is using forums online for help translating into English.

Sounds interesting and should be worth a read. Anything that helps make Kapital easier to read/understand is to be welcome
Although I wonder if it can top the sheer coolness of Stalin v Hitler (http://www.comics.aha.ru/rus/stalin/)

Try David Smith & Phil Evans's Marx's Kapital for Beginners. This is part of a series published by Readers & Writers in Britain during the 1980s. I'm sure someone put the entire text of it up on RevLeft somewhere, but you're far better with the original book, as its written in semi-comic strip form.

Wow, that cartoon thing ComradeOm posted is crazy.
"We'll promise them land and then take it back, muhahaha".
It's like an american history lesson.
But how exactly do you make Das Kapital into a manga? Just curious.

"We'll promise them land and then take it back, muhahaha"In fairness that's almost exactly what the Bolsheviks ended up doing. The author of that comic is/was a lot cleverer than most leftists give him credit for
