It is just a BNP front right?
How can we fight against it if it is?
Does it have any influence at all?
Is it just fascists shitting over our ideas of One Big Union etc, in a typical steal your ideas and dirty them sort of thing?
I hope they don't get big or well known, for obvious reasons. Also, it'd stop me being eager to sing 'Solidarity Forever', the song of organised labour :(

i dont think they have a great membership, i did hear it was less than a 100. there is also the usual fash infighting with people getting kicked out for whatever reason fascists keep on splitting up! the usual power struggles that go hand in hand with bnp politics.:D hopefully they will die a death but i worry that in these economic times they could well thrive, witness the current strikes.

Yeh, if these strikes were enar me I'd be down there with IWW leaflets talking to people, winning them over, you know, that sorta thing.

The BNP is small. It's only well mentioned and blown out of proportion due to their far-right views. I'm sick of people acting like they will take over tomorrow.

The Nazi Party started out small.

So did every party. And the UK is, no matter who says it, in the same position as Germany in the 20's and early 30's.

So? I'm not up for ignoring a threat until it becomes big. The far right is small. So is the left. Thus, we can't let them grow, because we're the ones who have to combat them.

The problem is that the right have been willing to become reformists. The left on the other hand hasn't and the end result is that the BNP are fairly large whilst any leftist organisations are fairly small.

The BNP have tried to appear respectable, yes. They're spineless liars who'll do anything to peddle their hate filled ideology.
On the other hand, revolutionary socialists see that obviously if they became reformist they'd cease to have any point so remain true to the revolutionary path.

Bigger fish to fry, mate.
And the songs of organised labour belong to organised labour - always, and forever.

To be honest, I think it's a shame this thread really, solidarity is such an important and entrenched word for the far-left that it should just have its place.
Whether some retarded so-called union uses it to try and front for the BNP is irrelevant, what we've got to do is get it out there just enough, so that people realise they are a completely crap union by any measure, that'll pretty much guarantee it don't get a look-in.
As for the "far-left being relatively small", well being able to summon 600 protesters to counter the BPP (who are far smaller than the BNP obviously) is something that not even the BNP could manage as suddenly as our lot did. Come on, that's not bad going. ;)
It just takes organisation really anyway, but as Socialist Scum said, the BNP need to partly be marginalised by not always giving them a voice like the media does (not to say it wasn't good when Antifa bashed them in Bethnal Green or anything, just best to organise bashing them when the time is right).

Says someone who interprets anarchy as smashing things up and acting rebellious, without an ounce of communism involved. Crawl back to the 'post-left' corner and be quiet, please.

Also, I know you're stupid, but if you tried hard enough you'd be able to understand I was explaining why we haven't all just become reformists to appear 'respectable', not defining what a revolutionary is.
Of course, the definition of 'revolutionary' to you must meana few punk gigs and a smashed window, or whatever.

rofl. Is that how I interpret anarchy?
Ok, Mr. Activist, let me know when the working class has finally come to it's senses. I'll be over in my 'post-left' corner doing things that are actually worthwhile.

I don't vandalize things. I don't know how much 50 quid is, but I can assure you that my dad is poor as fuck and is barely making it by after a pretty nasty separation with his wife. I can't stand the sex pistols.
Try again.
