Eugen Leviné was a Communist, revolutionary and leader of the short lived Bavarian Soviet Republic. Executed on June 5, 1919 (aged 36) Stadelheim Prison, Munich. The judge of the new Bavarian 'Free State' told him "You are under sentence of death." Leviné answered: "We Communists are all dead men on vacation"
